The Vancouver Playhouse Theatre production of John Logan's "RED" is an absolute MUST SEE production.  A brilliant script handled by a superb duo of performers (Jim Mezon as Mark Rothko and David Coomber as Ken).  The direction by Kim Collier is tight, insightful and thought provoking.  The sets of replicas of Rothko's famous abstracts add a wonderful touch to the feeling of the show.  It's a spare production but so full of rich language and nuance that you feel as though you've been treated to a major theatrical production -- and indeed you have! 

RED continued at the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre, Hamilton at Dunsmuir until February 4.
